multiple sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a disease that triggers the immune system to attack the brain and spinal cord.  The cause is unknown.  At NETNA, we treat patients with MS using the American Academy of Neurology and Multiple Sclerosis Society's Quality Standards.  Our providers are proficient in the use of all disease modifying agents including injectable, oral and IV medications.

The only comprehensive epilepsy center in East Texas is part of NETNA.  Dr. Jetter is the Director of the Level 3 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in East Texas.  She specializes in treatment of all people with epilepsy, including adolescents, women, and the elderly.

At NETNA, we lead the stroke team at both Level I Stroke Centers in Tyler treating patients with tPA and neurovascular interventions.  Not only do we treat acute stroke in the hospital, we also help patients to minimize their risk of repeat stroke after they have left the hospital.

The good physician treats the disease; The great physician treats the patient who has the disease.
